Attorney Bios

David T. Pisarra

Born in Northern California, he grew up in Orinda CA, graduating from Miramonte High in 1985. While there he was an Editor on the school newspaper, and a member of the wrestling team, earning his Varsity letter in his Senior year.

Mr. Pisarra received his undergraduate degree from St. John’s College in Annapolis Maryland, graduating in 1989 with a double major in Philosophy and Mathematics, with minors in French and Attic Greek. He was twice the yearbook editor in chief, president of the King William Players, the schools theater group, and chief promoter and organizer of the schools annual graduation celebration.

Upon Graduation, Mr. Pisarra relocated to Los Angeles in order to work for his brother and to learn the law business. As office manager and head paralegal for the Law Offices of Richard Pisarra, his duties included marketing, accounting, new client development, legal research and estate plan drafting.

After four years he applied to, and was accepted at University of West Los Angeles where he specialized in Family Law, graduating in 1995. He worked his way through law school.

As a trial attorney, Mr. Pisarra enjoys the courtroom and the give and take of a good exchange in front of a judge or jury.

Brad A. Grist

Born in Illinois, he grew up in Darien, graduating from Hinsdale South High School in 1986. While there he was a member of the wrestling team, soccer, and track, earning his Varsity letter each year of high school.

Mr. Grist received his undergraduate degree from Illinois State University in 1990, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Sociology. While in college, he worked in the Attorney Generals office Division of Consumer Protection.

Upon graduation, and desiring to see more of the county, Mr. Grist traveled and landed in Vail Colorado where he met his future wife.

He applied to, and was accepted at University of West Los Angeles where he specialized in Juvenile law, graduating in 1995. After graduation he went to work for Herbalife International starting in the Cosmetic Licensing Department and ending in the Manufacturing Department, where he was for four and half years prior to going into private practice.

He is a member of the fraternity Kappa Delta Rho, the Los Angeles Rod and Reel club, and the San Fernando Saltwater Fishermen.

For recreation Mr. Grist enjoys fishing, his tropical fish tank, scuba diving, white-water river rafting, foreign travel and spending time with his wife, four children, one crazy dog, a parrot, and an iguana.
